My own rendition of the Z-Type from Grand Theft Auto 2. On the 22nd of October 2019 GTA 2 turned 20 years old so happy birthday!

This time around I didn't have a Ray Larabie designed sprite to work with so I based my Z-Type on the in-game sprite, complete with the gang logos. The car is one of the fastest in the game and my design brief for this one was that I had to make it look fast but also elegant/refined as the Zaibatsu clearly have a lot of money to throw around.

I really learned a lot more about Redshift and custom shaders all the way through this project. Everything except the livery and glass normal maps was done with tiling masks and pretty simple material blends.
